Erik Owings Sean Hinds
Instructor
Sean Hinds grew up in London, England. From a young age, Hinds was always a sports enthusiast, playing hockey and soccer. Upon moving to the New York City, Hinds discovered the world of Muay Thai.

Sean initially started his Muay Thai training to lose weight, but became fascinated with the competitiveness and individual aspects of Thai boxing that groups sports did not offer. He began his training in Thai boxing under the tutelage of Edge Brown, world champion kick boxer and fellow Englishman. While training with Brown, Hinds studied the Dutch.English style of Muay Thai. Brown also helped Hinds develop his striking skills and tactical fighting strategies. Brown established a solid foundation for Sean's professional career in Muay Thai. Hinds still uses a lot of Brown's phiosophies today while preparing to fight an opponent.

After Brown, Hinds moved on to train with Kru Coban, a five-time world champion in May Thai. Coban's Thai style of Muay Thai added a new dimension to Hind;s fighting repertoire. Being able to switch between two styles of Muay Thai, Hinds found his fighting skill level increased, givning him more opportunities to fight tougher opponents. Hinds continued his professional career and training with Kru Phil Nurse. Nurse helped Hinds develop his superior clinching technique and gain strength.

Hinds Muay Thai career spans 16 years and 30 professional fights. He has fought in Russa, Italy, Ukraine, Denmark, Canada and the USA. Known for his hard kicks, heavy hands, tight clinch and all around arsenal of Muay Thai, Hinds can truly be considered a well-rounded fighter.
